More than likely, you have already met us and that is why you are here. Without providing information that could endanger our personal security, we would like to tell you a little about us that you may not know.
We were both born and raised in the heartland of this magnificent republic, the United States of America. During the past twenty + years, we have traveled for both business and pleasure to 40 states as well as several states in Mexico and provinces in Canada. As a general rule, we spent two to three weeks or more in any single location, making almost daily trips to nearby areas of interest. Traveling on everything from dry river beds and soft sandy beaches to 4-wheel drive trails or no trail at all, we have enjoyed a great many regions of this country not often seen by the normal traveler. For the decades prior to that, Carolyn worked for a major corporation primarily in computer network administration. Dan spent most of his career in marketing and graphic design. In the course of our travels, we have discovered that each state has its own secrets and more often than not, those secrets are the state’s most interesting area. They are very often not the famous, tourist ridden, highly promoted areas of that particular state or region.
Personally, we were childhood sweethearts, literally holding hands in the fifth grade and have been married for many, many great years. We first met when we were five years old and destiny seemed to constantly draw us together. We have one daughter and one grandson.
On September 8, 2017, Carolyn's long battle with cancer came to an end. She was laid to rest at Memorial Gardens in her adopted home of Tulsa, OK. Though her travels are through, the memory of her and her positive influence on those around her will last for generations. She is missed beyond imagination.
